Staff Nurse - Endoscopy (Band 5)
Scratch beneath Guernsey’s sandy surface, and you’ll find a place full of interesting and unusual places, people and things. From the subtropical flowers and white sand of nearby Herm to a 16ft chapel – possibly the smallest in the world – there’s so much more to Guernsey than sun, sand and sea.
That said, while life on the island tends to be more relaxed than in the UK, we take nursing seriously indeed. And when you join our Day Patient Unit with 22 beds, minor theatre and endoscopy suite, you’ll use your endoscopy training and experience to help those undergoing endoscopic procedures. Our innovative approach means you’ll also help set up a new bowel cancer screening service.
Essential qualifications applicants should have:

- Endoscopy Qualification
Subsidised single accommodation is provided for Band 5 posts. NMC subscriptions also paid.
Along with an attractive remuneration and orientation package the Health and Social Services Department awards a retention bonus of £1,000 after one year's service, along with a further lump sum of £697 each February.
