Brand new Cardiothoracic Centre looking for Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Nurses
One of the NHS’s leading Foundation Trusts and associated teaching hospitals, situated in Essex, currently has opportunities for Band 5, 6 ITU nurses as well as an ITU Practice Educator.
This £60 million centre has the capacity to complete 2,500 cardiology procedures and 1,400 surgical procedures each year. The 22 bedded Critical Care Unit combines 14 ITU and 8 HDU beds and will support the lives of hundreds of patients dependent on the specialist needs of this cardiothoracic centre. This is a unique opportunity to be influential in the set up of a new, world class and internationally innovative and envied service, staffed by some of the worlds leading experts in cardiothoracic medicine.
If you are NMC registered have recent cardiothoracic experience and are currently working in Intensive Care we are keen to hear from you. A post-registration cardiothoracic or critical care course (ENB100 / ENB249 or equivalent) is desirable as well as a recognised teaching/mentorship qualification.
