My client is an independent hospital in Nottingham which provides care and support specifically for adults on the autistic spectrum.
This acute service offers assessment and intervention for those on the autistic spectrum who also have a learning disability and who additionally may have other have complex needs and challenging behaviour. 18 people live at the Service in Nottingham. It offers a calm and tranquil environment, specifically tailored to its purpose.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the nurse in charge and main duties include;
. Developing and evaluating each patients care plan.
. Participate in teaching programmes and assisting in the introduction of new staff.
. Act as nurse in charge, taking control of the establishment.
. Maintain good working relationships and promote the company to families, patients, and the general public.
. Maintain a clean and safe environment, according to health and safety legislation.
. Undertake any other appropriate roles and responsibilities as requested.
The salary will be in the region of £22k- £26k and is negotiable between that range dependant on the quality of the candidate.
