Milford Care operates five care homes in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We are a forward looking group that is known to provide an excellent service to our residents. All our homes have achieved the maximum quality rating from the Care Quality Commission.
We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our Head Office team as Training Lead. This is a supporting role to our regional Care & Development Manager, with the aim to develop and further improve the quality of care in all homes through better training, development and through our unique competency assessments of staff.
As Lead Trainer you will work with the Care & Development Manager to develop and deliver in-house training and standards specific to Milford Care and our ethos. You will also help the homes to source external training specific to the home's needs.
As Lead Trainer you will also support the Care & Development Manager by overseeing our own NVQ Centre which we have just started.
Hours:
24 per week over 3 days
Skills & abilities required:
- First and utmost you must be passionate about providing a quality service and working with people.
- Registered Nurse with very good clinical competency. Milford Care will support with further training & development required.
- Ability to develop and deliver training to staff
