An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified registered general nurse to work as a Unit Manager on 70 + bedded general nursing home for elderly residents with dementia. The home is situated in the Bradford area and is easily accessible.

Working for one of the UK's leading providers in care you will be expected to lead a team of care staff and nurses.

Work closely with local Authorities to liase any health care issues that arise.

The main duties of the Unit Manager will involve leading a team of staff, creating and maintaining care plans and risk assessments, Changing peg feeds and pressure pads and all other general nursing duties.

This role requires you to work as a very hands on nurse as well as supervising care staff.

The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years experience in supervision of staff and also be a very strong character with excellent leadership qualities.

For the right candidate my client is willing to pay £28,000 to £30,000 per year.
